Natural charcoal is primarily characterized by the possibility of obtaining an intense black colour . It owes its special character to its graphite, which is resistant to all falls and unconventional storage. Charcoal in pencil is very comfortable to use ( does not dirty your hands ) and is great for quick and long sketching. Charcoal can be used as an independent drawing tool, and it can be combined with other techniques, e.g. pastel, sanguine, sepia, as well as with ink and pencil .
