The DAS air drying modelling clay is a fine and even self-hardening modelling clay that requires no baking, and can be used with wood, cardboard and terracotta. Easy to smooth. Poster paint and acrylic varnish can be applied for decoration. Solid and strong when dry. Drying time 24 hours per centimetre thickness. PVC free. Contains no softeners, only vegetable binders, may contain silica. The clay is vacuum sealed until the package is opened.
Self-hardening clay is a ready-made plastic mass that is suitable for immediate use. When modeling, it can be softened by adding small amounts of water, be careful not to overdo it with water, because the mass can be too liquid and smoldering and will not be allowed to form. The clay dries spontaneously under the influence of air (preferably at room temperature) within approx. 24 hours, but it is always dependent on the thickness and size of the made decorations. It is recommended for creating Christmas decorations, jugs, figurines, etc. Items made of it can be sanded and painted.
Newclay is air drying nylon-reinforced modelling clay which is non-toxic. Can also be kiln fired between 1000 -1250 degrees C. Dry slowly to avoid cracking. CE - labelled, EN-71 health certificate. Made in England.
Newclay is a fibre-reinforced air-drying modelling clay. Newclay can also be kiln-fired with exceptional results. Newclay is characterised by being non-sticky and with low shrinkage during drying. It is malleable, it air dries without the need for heating, it can be used with professional pottery tools and, as it is nylon reinforced, it will not go brittle. While its reinforced finish makes it exceptionally strong, Newclay Hardeners (H1 or H2) can be applied to improve durability of the final article. For best results, finished pieces should be decorated with a good quality ceramic or acrylic paint and finished with Gloss or Satin. Made in England
