Slowly drying water-based adhesive for gluing gold foil (petals). The decorated object in the places to be gilded lubricate with a thin layer of glue. After approx. 30 minutes when the adhesive becomes completely transparent carefully, dry brush put the film flakes on the surface of the object, and its excess sweep aside. The gilded surface is fixed with lacquer.
Genuine silver leaf sits loosely between thin rouged paper sheets in the booklet.. Apply an even layer of glue on the surface with a brush, wait until the glue becomes transparent and self-adhesive (30 minutes-1 hour). Then apply the foil to the self-adhesive surface using tweezers or your fingers. Using a taping brush, stick the foil well to the surface. Use finishing varnishes to maintain the shine. 11 sheets 14x14 cm
Glue for water-based gilding. Glue with slow drying for foiling and gold leaf. 80 ml. Apply the adhesive on a dry surface, always with a dry, preferably flat, soft brush. Remember to not apply too thick adhesive. The adhesive is white and never dries completely. The foil can be applied to the glue when it becomes transparent and will remain sticky. Apply the film with dry hands. It is very delicate so dry hands are required here. Protect the foil with gilding varnishes or with alcohol varnish.
