Gillott nibs are flexible nibs. They are intended for writing in English (Copperplate) and Spencerian style. Adequate pressure while typing shades the lines. Writing is made easier by the oblique penholder, nib number 659 requires a drawing pen holder. The Gillott 303 nib is probably the most widely used Copperplate nib.
